ABOUT

Forgiven Wine Co.

Stressed, Blessed, and Wine Obsessed

This wine was created right here in Pennsylvania.

Forgiven Wine Company is a black owned business created and cultivated by two young female entrepreneurs.

We offer wine with and without CBD

CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol and refers to an extract obtained from cannabis, which is often prescribed for a wide range of conditions. Anecdotal reports that date as far back as the 10th century, as well as recent scientific research findings, hail CBD for its immense analgesic properties. Besides being prescribed for pain relief, cannabidiol is also used to treat anxiety, inflammation, mood swings, nausea, and many other side effects of various diseases.

Paige Hughes, 27, and Aliesha Clark, 29, launched Forgiven Wine September 19th 2020.

Forgiven Wine aims to be an approachable option for people who want a sweet wine to pair with desserts and are tired of being misled by flashy packaging and would like the convenience of having wine delivered right to their door. When we embarked on the journey to create their own wine brand last year, they discovered something else was really hard: getting winemakers to take seriously and agree to produce a super sweet blend.

A vineyard owner in California, a man, told them sweet wine wasn’t what’s popular, Clark said. “We were like, ‘On the contrary.'" After the belittling conversation, they had similar interactions with every wine producer who wasn’t a woman, Clark recalled. “We couldn’t get a word in. Everything said was, ‘Do you guys even know what you’re doing?'” Until they finally were blessed and found their vendor.
